The festival doesn't end on closing night. All five Filmfest DC 2026 award winners — Primavera, The Essence of Eva, Diya, Happy Birthday, and Everybody to Kenmure Street — travel to historic independent cinemas across the mid-Atlantic. Every stop plays the complete slate, Friday through Sunday.

The Award Winners Tour is organized by the Washington Summer Film Festival in partnership with each host cinema, extending the reach of Filmfest DC's 40th-anniversary award winners beyond the capital.
